When first considering your options for a new process design, one very important question to ask is: What’s the value of a skid system?

There are many advantages to using a skid system, particularly for processing companies that intend to grow their business.  If the process is likely to be expanded in the future, the skid can be designed to accommodate the changes as a simple bolt-on improvement.  Or, additional units can be put in place to expand the production capacity.

Because skid systems are mobile, relocation to another facility or different location within the same facility is not only easier but offer substantial cost savings over traditional relocation.  Other benefits of a skid system include reduced installation costs, simplified floor planning.
