CSI Releases the TrueClean® CIP'able Air Blow Check Valve

Lead In Photo Air Blow Check Valve

A Simple Solution

Central States Industrial (CSI) is happy to announce the launch of the first and only air blow check valve that can be cleaned in place with the process lines. The device's patented design is compact and easy to install because the TrueClean® valve simply fits in place of an existing standard air blow check valve.

The TrueClean CIP’able air blow check valve does not require complex valves or controls, and there is no need to take it apart for cleaning.

“No CIP fluid exits the unit, so there is no need for external drains.” Bryan Downer, VP - Product Development

The valve's innovative design allows air to flow into the process line, prevents product from flowing back into the air system, and allows for cleaning around the valve stem for a truly CIP'able valve. While product is flowing, the primary valve stem is closed, preventing backflow into the air line. A secondary seal o-ring seal also seals the air line. When air pressure is applied to the primary air inlet, both the primary and secondary seals open to allow air to flow into the process line.

During CIP, air is applied to the actuator inlet. This opens the primary valve stem, but leaves the valve sealing the air line closed. CIP fluid is able to flow around the primary valve stem, and within the valve internals, thoroughly cleaning the unit.
