Central States Industrial Acquires Wisconsin-based Stainless Products, Inc. (SPI)
Springfield, MO – September 30, 2019 – Cindy and Bernie Gross and Mark Cook are pleased to announce that Central States Industrial Equipment & Service, Inc. (CSI) has acquired Stainless Products, Inc. (SPI) in Somers, WI. Cindy and Bernie own and operate SPI and Mark Cook is owner and CEO of CSI.
SPI was founded by Cindy’s father J. Richard “Dick” Greb in 1972. For the past 47 years, SPI has been committed to providing customers the finest quality and fastest service available in the industry. Their expertise in the manufacture of equipment, fittings and sanitary piping components make the company a strategic fit for CSI. “We look for opportunities where quality and value are driven by a great legacy and culture. SPI is exactly that,” said CEO, Mark Cook.

The SPI team will continue working in the factory in Somers, WI providing the same products and services. The day-to-day operations will continue to evolve and adapt to the needs of SPI’s market. The company will operate as SPI and the products will carry the SPI brand.
