Central States Industrial celebrates the life of Steven Campbell

September 28, 2021, Springfield, Missouri--Central States Industrial Equipment and Service, Inc. (CSI) is saddened to announce that Steve Campbell, customer service and sales representative at CSI since 2017, has passed away.

CEO, Mark Cook, said Steve made a lasting impression on friends and co-workers. “Steve was committed and diligent in his work, and he leaves a legacy of true service to other people. We are blessed that Steve shared that service with us at CSI.”

Steve and his family shared a faith in Jesus, which Steve’s wife, Gayla, shared has been a source of comfort. As a joyful member of the CSI family, Steve followed his own advice to “let your light shine” in all he did with friends, co-workers, and customers.

Steve’s experience in the industry spanned twenty-five years, beginning with shipping and warehouse management at Crouch Supply and culminating in sales at CSI. After joining CSI, Steve and Gayla bought a house because he knew he was here to stay.

The CSI team is grateful for the time they had with him as they served customers together. His level of customer service excellence and team camaraderie will be an ongoing example of what it means to “take care of each other and take care of customers."
