Our Story begins in the garage of Jim and Shirley Cook
... and they didn't imagine what it would become.
From a 500-square-foot garage to an 80,000-square-foot headquarters
with five additional locations throughout the United States
serving thousands of customers throughout the world.
1977CSI is founded by Jim Cook with a focus on installation.
1979Fabrication is added to CSI Capabilities.
1980The first Transfer Panel is designed.
1984CSI moves from Jefferson City to Springfield, Missouri.
1988CSI moves to new 8000 sq ft facility.
1988More complex panels are manufactured.
1989New CAD technology is introduced.
1990With a focus on documentation, CSI begins to serve High Purity customers in Biotech and Pharma industries.
1997CSI moves to new 34,000 sq. ft. facility.
2000AL-6XN® Alloy Tubing & Fittings are stocked in CSI warehouse.
2002Hastelloy® C-22® Tubing and Fittings are stocked in CSI warehouse.
2006New location in Fresno, CA added to serve customers on the West Coast.
2008New location in Durham, NC added to serve customers on the East Coast.
2014Springfield facility is doubled to 80,000 sq. ft.
2014Warehouse in Springfield facility expands to 32,000 sq. ft.
2017CSI adds a new stocking warehouse in Grand Prairie, Texas, to serve customers in the Midwest.
2019The Texas facility adds a 52,000 sq-ft warehouse.
2020CSI adds a new 32,000-sq-ft facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.
2022A 58,000-sq-ft distribution center is added to become the second location in Springfield, Missouri.
2023CSI adds a new 35,000-sq-ft distribution center in Ceres, California.
