A customer needed a bevel seat by clamp reducer to connect their original system components to a new process line. This reducer was installed in the pasteurization area of a ketchup plant. Because of the very high temperature in the pasteurization and the high salt content and low pH of the ketchup, the reducer had to made with AL-6XN®.
Fast Fittings
A customer needed an effective way to transfer highly corrosive, pharmaceutical solution from their pump into their tanks. To ensure the fitting wouldn't corrode over time and potentially fail, we designed this Tri-Clamp® Manifold Assembly to be made with Hastelloy® C-22®. C-22 is used in severely corrosive media with high content chloride and high-temperature applications, such as buffer solutions, API, and cleaning supplies.
Fast Fittings
A customer contacted us looking for a fitting that would allow them to connect instrumentation into their process line to read temperature. To best accommodate the space inside their facility and provide ample room for the probe to read the temperature, we were asked to design a side port onto an elbow. The probe extends into the process flow at a location that meets their unique needs.
Fast Fittings
A customer contacted us searching for an adapter to connect their European style valve to a US stainless-steel tube. While finding a fabricator to build an adapter isn't tricky, most fabricators only make and sell adapters in large order quantities — making it difficult for processors to find a quick and inexpensive solution. At CSI, we're happy to create single adapters for our customers, and we have the capabilities to make adapters that fit just about anything!
Fast Fittings
A customer requested a Tri-Clamp® manifold to redirect the juice product in their process line. To safely move the media through the limited space inside their facility, the manifold needed a 180-degree bend. This design using 316L meets both requests, and with the fast turnaround time and excellent quality achieved by our fabrication team, the customer can now redirect their product more easily.
Fast Fittings
One customer contacted us looking for a high-purity, injection nozzle that could withstand the extremely aggressive solution they were adding to their line. Hastelloy® C-22 was the material specified for this 1 inch tri-clamp nozzle. Now the customer has peace-of-mind that microbial contamination and frequent equipment replacements are no longer a concern.
Fast Fittings
A pharmaceutical customer contacted us needing a custom dip tube to clean one of their tanks. To meet their specifications, this dip tube required a 6-inch tri-clamp connection for the tank, a 1-inch connection for their process line, and a 3/4-inch threaded end for the spray ball that will clean the inside of the tank. After designing the fitting to match their dimensional needs and specific finish requirements, our fabrication shop was able to provide a quick turnaround and ship the part quickly. Now the customer can clean their tank more efficiently and have a fitting that will last for years to come.
Fast Fittings
This no-foam fitting is clamped to the top of a tank port with the angled edge pointing towards the inner tank wall. The angled design allows the product to hit the tank wall and flow down the surface, which keeps the amount of foaming or splashing to a minimum.
