Working Principle
The Sanitary Hydroheater from Hydro-Thermal utilizes direct steam injection to quickly heat products. Capable of 100% heat transfer efficiency and precise temperature control, the Sanitary Hydroheater® from Hydro-Thermal is the most efficient heat transfer device available. Since the Hydroheater has no heat transfer barrier, it responds instantly to control signals, changing the liquid temperature immediately.
Design
Hydro-Thermal's Sanitary Hydroheater can accommodate flow rates from 1-180 gallons per minute and has precise temperature control of +/- 1 or 2ºF. The heater is available in a variety of alloy materials and in four sizes ranging from ½-inch to 2½-inch outlet piping.
Sanitary Hydroheaters are self-draining from multiple orientations. The unit can be easily disassembled for clean-in-place (CIP), and the steam and liquid inlets can rotate 360°. The unit can be fully drainable in vertical or horizontal positions.
