Anderson-Negele Chart Recorders & Recording Controllers
Central States Industrial (CSI) offers Anderson-Negle recorders and recording controllers, designed specifically for sanitary fluid processing applications. Anderson's chart recorders aren't just for dairy processes. These units can provide accurate process recording for records retention, as well as optional process control, throughout the sanitary fluid processing industry.
Models
- AJ-300
- AV-9000
APPLICATION
The FDA Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) regulates the control of all batch, as well as the more common continuous pasteurization processes in the United States. For over 30 years, Anderson has been the leading developer and supplier of electronic controls for every specific application outlined in the PMO. Anderson's range of chart recorders and controllers ensure compliance and a safe product.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Anderson's range of chart recorders, including the AJ-300 and AV-9000 receive inputs from a range of instruments, including RTDs, flow, temperature, pressure transmitters, or thermocouples. The inputs are translated to temperature, flow rate, or other measurements, then the readings are transcribed to paper using pens or ink cartridges. Inputs can also be used for indicating, control, switching, and alarming functions. Units can be specified with full PID control including auto/manual control and remote set-point capability.
AJ-300 RECORDER/RECORDING CONTROLLER
The AJ-300 family of recorders and recording controllers is designed specifically for sanitary fluid processing applications. Available in single or dual pen versions, these units record on the largest charts in the industry for maximum resolution and readability, easily meeting all health-code requirements. Housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure, the unit withstands high humidity environments and frequent washdowns. The case is designed for surface or panel mounting.
STANDARD DESIGN
Universal inputs are factory or field programmable via the front keypad utilizing the user-friendly menu. Relay and 4-20mA outputs are modular for maximum cost effectiveness. A 24VDC loop supply is available and is able to power one or two transmitters.
The 4-20mA outputs are fully isolated to ensure freedom from ground loop problems when interfacing with additional instrumentation. Pens can be specified with full PID control, including auto/manual control and remote setpoint capability. Combined with Anderson-Negele’s sanitary sensors and applications expertise, the AJ-300 provides an all-encompassing solution.

AV-9000 Recorder/Recording Controller
Anderson-Negele introduces the AV-9000, a revolutionary circular chart recorder. It features a four-color marker pen cartridge which prints information as it glides across 12 inch charts. Chart reading is simplified by providing color coded trend lines, scales and alphanumeric data. Plain paper charts are far superior for record retention than “fax type” thermal paper used by competitors.
Optional PID control is available on any four inputs. The 40 character vacuum fluorescent display coupled with the integral keypad make the AV-9000 easy to program for users at all skill levels. The case is designed to easily retrofit existing name-brand recorder cutouts.
