Alfa Laval MR Series Liquid Ring Pumps
Central States Industrial (CSI) offers the MR Liquid Ring pump from Alfa Laval. The unique design of the MR Liquid Ring makes it ideal for pumping liquids that contain air or gas. This pump is most commonly used as a clean-in-place (CIP) return pump.
The MR Liquid Ring pump is 3-A compliant, and features an "external" mechanical seal for maximum hygiene. One seal can fit up to three models, reducing the need for spare parts.

Applications
The MR liquid-ring pump is especially designed for pumping liquids which contain air or gas. This versatile 3-A compliant pump can be used in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and similar industries. The main use of the MR liquid-ring pump is in CIP return applications.
Standard Design
All product wetted parts—including the pump casing, casing cover, and impeller—are built with 316L stainless steel. The cap nuts, legs, and leg brackets are constructed with 304 stainless steel. Other design features include EPDM rubber elastomers and a cast iron adaptor coated in zinc for improved corrosion resistance. The motor is a standard C-faced, foot mounted motor according to NEMA standard (1750 rpm, Class F).
Shaft Seals
The mechanical single seals have AISI 329 stainless steel stationary seal rings and carbon rotating seal rings.
