TrueClean® Vent Check
The TrueClean Vent Check is designed to quickly and easily vent air from any process system. It acts as an automatic sanitary breather, allowing air to flow freely in and out of a system, while creating a tight seal when product is encountered. The vent check is designed for superior air flow, performance, and cleanability.
Applications for the TrueClean Vent Check extend into many sanitary industries including food, dairy, beverage, and brewery. FDA approved EPDM and Viton seal materials are available.

Applications
The TrueClean Vent Check is useful anywhere a sanitary breather is needed. The TrueClean Vent Check allows air to pass, while preventing product from flowing out of the system. By suspending the ball in the middle of the body, the TrueClean Vent Check allows air to re-enter the system. When air is allowed to flow freely out of a system, product integrity can be maintained while equipment downstream is protected. The TrueClean Vent Check is also designed for clean-out-of-place (COP).
Working Principle
An internal Polypropylene ball floats when product enters the body, creating a seal to prevent outward flow. An elastomer o-ring enhances the seal against product leakage. When air flows in or out, the ball no longer seals, allowing for efficient air relief or intake.
Standard Design
The design of the TrueClean Vent Check is reflective of the considerations taken to create a fully functional product. All internal surfaces are sloped to ensure draining and promote cleanability. Air flows back into the system with minimal obstruction as all internal areas are equal to or greater than the throat area. This vent check is designed in a way that facilitates a complete seal to prevent product from leaking. This product is made out of 316L stainless steel material with a 32 Ra surface finish.
